The SNSCV (Société Nautique de Sainte Croix du Verdon) is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of fresh water in France below the ancient hill village of Ste Croix du Verdon in Haute Provence. Artificially created in 1972, the lake stems from the Verdon Gorges and has an emerald green colour which invites all types of water based activities.

The Club is on the beach at Ste Croix and has parking for up to 200 dinghies, catamarans and other craft, as well as club moorings for cruising yachts and dayboats. Shore based facilities include clubhouse with meeting room and galley facilities, changing rooms, area with barbeque ovens, sail lockers, hoist frame to 600kgs and workshop.

The objective of the Club is to promote a varied interest in all watersports, advancing the safety, learning and enjoyment of all aspects of nautical activities. Among the varied types of boats sailed from the Club are Optimists, Finns and Vent d'Ouest, as well as a number of Lasers and Hobie catamarans.

Memberships can be annual or holiday / temporary if only visiting for a few weeks and a welcome is assured from our Club Manager/Bosun, Jean-Francois Bonnardo.
